The platform stated the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces. The platform has recommended to review their products and manually change the size if necessary, resulting in member annoyance. Size Classification Modifications Previously, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10. The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10. In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18. Shopper Stories A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling". "Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she stated. Required Changes A different user, based in Derby, said she had been left angered by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing". "For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she said.
